Midland Heart is the largest regeneration group in the midlands - one of the most influential in the country.

A ‘core brief’ bulletin is issued monthly to all 12,000 staff. Its aim is to inform them about key high-level corporate issues. However, it was felt that the language used was too formal and technical and understanding and interest amongst staff was not as high as desired.

We carried out a sample market research exercise which backed this instinct. The core brief is now edited and designed by JFPR, ensuring that it is readable, jargon-free and interesting to all staff, whatever their position or location. Feedback has been positive and impact has increased.
