PRESS & PR A background in journalism is the key to understanding how the media works - how press releases should be written; to whom they should be targeted; when they should be distributed and, importantly, how they should be followed up. Case study… A range of stories and PR opportunities were identified and progressed. In the first few months of the publicity campaign, the school received extensive photographic and editorial coverage in the Worcester Evening News; Birmingham Post; Express and Star; Worcestershire Life magazine; County Times, Kidderminster Shuttle; Border and County Life magazine and on BBC radio.
